Hello friends! I live in the Powderhorn Park neighborhood of Minneapolis, the center of all the ICE stuff that is happening. I figured it might be nice to give an update as to what is actually happening here, starting with a point of paranoia for you.

Yes, ICE is abducting United States citizens. These range from people directly “interfering” with their “investigations,” to people walking on the sidewalk who have committed no crime and are keeping to themselves, just walking somewhere. This has happened on my block, one block over, two blocks over, and on and on. ICE will then wheel you around in an SUV until they get sick of you and drop you off somewhere at random, or take you to the building they’re based out of. They’ll hold you as long as they want to, and then kick you out. Often, people don’t get charged with a crime, again, because the people they’re picking up aren’t breaking any laws, and there is no paper trail of what happened, as ICE isn’t supposed to do anything with US citizens. The agents remain anonymous. There is no way to find out who these agents are who are breaking numerous laws and, of course, disregarding the Bill of Rights in the US Constitution.

That is one reason people are protesting, which has then been used as an excuse to send more agents into our state, causing even more chaos. Heck, just this morning people were pepper sprayed, helicopters started flying around, etc. in my neighborhood.

As well, agents have been instructed to film stuff on their own phones or GoPro cameras. This is part of an effort to gather footage for anti-Minnesota propaganda. Think a compilation of people swearing at agents, hitting them, acting rowdy, etc. This is part of a larger effort to villainize our state and its people. They want you to think Minnesota is a band of unwashed evil people, or whatever. They want people to see us as less than. This gives them “justification” to impede our rights and get away with it. Yes, this is really happening.

If you think you’re immune, you’re not. If you walk alone, regardless of your ethnicity, there’s a non-zero chance you could be picked up. If they get away with it here, it will spread everywhere. This isn’t a “political” issue about where you stand on immigration, that’s gone out the window. This needs to be stopped. I suggest not waiting until it’s at your own doorstep. 

I will continue to make videos as much as I can, keeping to routine, but I am also called elsewhere during this time.
